The plan you priced is not the plan you need
Ooma's $19.95 Essentials tier leaves out texting, call recording, and the desktop app. Text messaging starts on the $24.95 Pro plan, and call queuing, CRM integrations, and AI transcriptions sit on the $29.95 Pro Plus tier. The advertised entry price rarely survives your feature list.
SMS caps are account-wide
Pro includes 250 text messages per month and Pro Plus 1,000, and those caps are shared across your whole account, not per user. A business that texts customers, confirmations, follow-ups, missed-call text-backs, can burn through that in days.
A menu tree is not a receptionist
